Awesome. This angle is better than the other one. It's far more dramatic, especially with the dark shadow of the wing hanging over him.

Yes, I agree.. I didn't like it when I first saw.... it doesn't show a lot of it..
But now I see that it shows everything... He has to carry the weight of the world.

This is amazingly moving, even with so few words. I really like the angle and composition.

Oh and your icon...it rocks...kinda kreepy the way it moves but I love that!

Nice contrast, really good photo. +like

Great image; shooting sculpture tends to fequently dissolve into merely recording someone else's work; this photo avoids that. The angle really transforms the statue into something of your own, in contrast to the other shot which seemed more conventional. The continuity of forms is killer in this one, namely the framing of the head by the other darker objects. Great work.

this is an incredible shot, the discriptions powerful as well

That's one of the reasons I don't like to post this photos.. I take them for documentation porpouses only.. But I also don't like to keep them here with me forever....

Your comment is really insightfull, and that is a difficult thing to find. Thanks!!

Yes, and it saddens him, his burden. Maybe he'll be able to stand again and lift the world up high, or maybe he will fall and break beneath its weight. One picture really is worth a thousand words.

I love this one. I think it is a more powerful view (and title) than the other one.

Great work. :)

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I usually don't like statue photos, but this is very excellent. I love how his wing curves at the bottom, and the lighting and contrast is perfect!
